Some pretty cool things happened tonight:
1. The show sold out. We were asking people to scoot over and make room for more people. Jeremy Camp has a back drop that had to be taken down, because people had to sit behind the stage to even get in. The sad part about this is that about 1,000 people had to be turned away. (I hope those people know about watching The Roadshow live online). Portland showed up tonight for The Roadshow in masses.
2. Not only did Portland show up in masses, they showed with high amounts of energy. The entire night the crowd was singing their hearts out and dancing in the aisles. It was awesome. There was more energy at this show then any of the other shows. Let that be a challenge for the rest of the dates.
3. We had a mechanical bull, bounce house, miniature golf course, and a petting zoo here today. I am not sure why, but does that really matter? Yeah that picture up there is from backstage. Weird and awesome all at the same time. I am hoping that somebody got footage of the mechanical bull with Bart’s slow motion camera. Unfortunately, I was too busy rocking Blog Nation to take part in the fun.
4. We had an artist by the name of Robbi Firestone painting a portrait today. Brody and I had the opportunity to talk to her about art and Blog Nation. It was a great conversation that I am not going to even try and reproduce. Sorry.
5. Blog Nation rocked today. You guys were out in force. The blog was getting tons of traffic, there were a large group watching the live feed, and that chat room was almost to much to keep up with. So a big thanks to you guys for making tonight a big night for Blog Nation.
