A Roadshow Welcome

Last night will end up being the last time for Addison Road to perform with The Roadshow.  After some consideration, the band decided it best to get off the road in their hometown and give Jenny and Ryan some rest before they have their baby girl.  Replacing them is the equally as talented and entertaining Sidewalk Prophets.

Sidewalk Prophets describe themselves as an unlikely group of poets, musicians, and fun-lovers who have been brought together by the blood of Jesus Christ to share the hope, faith, tragedy, and love that is the reality of Christianity.  They are a great group of guys and promise to put on a great time of rock and worship.

We are also losing Jeremy Camp for tonight show.  He will be back after tonight, so don’t worry faithful Campers.  Replacing Jeremy will be the group Flyleaf.  Flyleaf’s goal is to bring a positive message to a genre of music that is typically filled with emptiness and negativity.  A message that will feel right at home with The Roadshow.

Let’s give them both a Roadshow welcome and don’t forget to go over and tell Addison Road how much you enjoyed them on The Roadshow.

The Roadshow Live

If you were watching The Roadshow T.V. tonight (if not, I am not sure what you were thinking) you may have noticed something a little different. Tonight, we were able to broadcast Jeremy Camp live. The decision to allow us to broadcast was made at the last minute and we are incredibly thankful that we were given the opportunity to bring Jeremy to you guys.

Tonight was a good night to see Jeremy Camp.  The American Airlines Center sold out, filling the venue with around 18,000 energetic Roadshow-ers.  Daystar was also out tonight with a live feed of the show from 7:30 to 9:00.  These factors combined to make for an amazing Roadshow tonight.  The energy filled the room like never before while Jeremy was on stage, and that energy was translated to his performance.

As evidence of your thankfulness for seeing Jeremy, we had a great night in terms of viewers.  Totals reached 8,400 and 430 viewers at one time, only 70 shy of Brody getting his head shaved.

Again, we would like to thank those who made it possible to stream Jeremy Camp tonight and those who came by to watch The Roadshow T.V.

MercyMe couldn’t be happier to be traveling with the bands that are on The Roadshow with them. They are especially happy about Jeremy Camp being out on the road with them.

As good as the first show was, this one was even better.  The show started off with Addison Road stepping up their previous performance and starting a trend for the rest of the night.  In order to not bore you, suffice it to say that every performer stepped up their performance.  With the first show jitters out of the way the musicians seemed much more relaxed.  They knew the flow of their sets as well as the show as a whole.  Jeremy Camp rocked the place and got the crowd dancing in the aisles, but he also managed to create an intimate and worshipful experience.  Now that the night is over, I can only imagine (yeah I said it) what tomorrow night will hold for those who attend.
