As mentioned early, The Roadshow was a little bit different tonight.  We said good-bye to Addison Road and welcomed Sidewalk Prophets.  Jeremy Camp was at a previous engagement and was replaced by Flyleaf for the evening.

Sidewalk Prophets were a great addition to tonight’s show.  Closing their set with an a capella Amazing Grace, they are going to fit right in with The Roadshow.  Their set tonight helped create an atmosphere of worship and was a great segue into Tenth Avenue North.

To be honest, I was not sure what to expect from Flyleaf.  I knew they were going to be amazing, but I was not sure how they were going to fit in with The Roadshow.  Now that the show is over, I know they were a great fit.  They took the stage after Hawk Nelson and carried the energy through their entire set.  In keeping with The Roadshow tradition, they had a powerful message of the changing power of Christ and were not ashamed to profess Him from the stage.  We were privileged to have Flyleaf out tonight, and hope to see them again soon.

Last night will end up being the last time for Addison Road to perform with The Roadshow.  After some consideration, the band decided it best to get off the road in their hometown and give Jenny and Ryan some rest before they have their baby girl.  Replacing them is the equally as talented and entertaining Sidewalk Prophets.

Sidewalk Prophets describe themselves as an unlikely group of poets, musicians, and fun-lovers who have been brought together by the blood of Jesus Christ to share the hope, faith, tragedy, and love that is the reality of Christianity.  They are a great group of guys and promise to put on a great time of rock and worship.

We are also losing Jeremy Camp for tonight show.  He will be back after tonight, so don’t worry faithful Campers.  Replacing Jeremy will be the group Flyleaf.  Flyleaf’s goal is to bring a positive message to a genre of music that is typically filled with emptiness and negativity.  A message that will feel right at home with The Roadshow.

Let’s give them both a Roadshow welcome and don’t forget to go over and tell Addison Road how much you enjoyed them on The Roadshow.
