Exercise

I don’t think anybody will deny that exercise is good for the body.  People claim it makes them feel better, they get a runner’s high, they have more energy, crazy things like that.  I tried running for a while and never experienced any of these things.  However, there are many exercise enthusiasts on this tour.  In fact tonight at dinner a Men’s Fitness magazine found it’s was to the table.  I’m won’t name any names, in an effort to protect those that don’t exercise, but at several times during the day I see people running throughout the arena or doing some pull-ups.  You may remember this video from Addison Road.  It is almost inspiring.

Although to be fair, those of us who don’t run, we are getting our fair share of exercise.  Depending of the venue there can be quite a lot of walking.  Jacob Reiser, a tour promotor, brought a pedometer and has been wearing it the past few days.  Last night we looked at the reading and in the span of about 1 1/2 days he had walked a little over 20 miles.  Doing the math really quickly, that is about 10 miles a day.  Take that runners.

Now if we could get less amazing desserts at catering we might lose some weight.  We deserve all of those desserts in catering since we walk so much.

When you’re on tour it hard to find time to exercise. Between going to catering, sitting around, hanging out, and doing shows you can really start to let yourself go. Here’s Ryan from Addison Road’s solution to keeping yourself fit while on tour.
