Compassion International

Once again, The Roadshow is partnering with Compassion International giving those who attend a unique opportunity to change the world.  This year Compassion is starting a new program called the Child Survival Program.  This program aims to help pregnant mothers and young children until they reach the age of 5 when they are old enough to enter in to the traditional sponsorship program.

“Nearly 25,000 children under age 5 die every day, mostly from preventable diseases.”  To prevent these diseases pregnant mothers and infants are provided with prenatal care, access to assisted births, health screening, nutritious food and supplements, and the loving embrace of a Christ-centered church.

So how much does this cost?  A mere $20 a month.  For $20 a month you will literal change the lives of a mother and her child.  As well this is going to change your life.  Providing for the well-being of another life changes you in a way that you must experience, I really can’t tell you.  So here is my recommendation, if you can afford the $20 a month, do it.  Partner with Compassion and change a life, you will not be disappointed.

Part of The Roadshow is to help spread awareness about ministry opportunities such as Compassion International, CURE International, and Imagine a Cure. Through the help of volunteers, the roadshow-ers are making a difference. I know that many people are interested in finding out how many children have been sponsored because of The Roadshow. To date there have been 657 children sponsored by The Roadshow-ers.  To those who chose to support or already support these organizations The Roadshow would like offer our sincerest of thanks.  You are truly helping to make this world a better place.

Compassion is a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults.

CURE International transforms the lives of disabled children and their families in the developing world through medical and spiritual healing, serving all by establishing specialty teaching hospitals, building partnerships, and advocating for these children.

Imagine a Cure is a non-profit organization created by Bart Millard of MercyMe to help support research that will lead to a cure for Juvenile Diabetes.

The Roadshow encourages you to take a look at CompassionCure International and Imagine a Cure and change the world in which you live.
