Fan Photos Flickr

Comment

Last year on The Roadshow we had a flickr account set up that anybody in the crew or any of the bands had the ability to send in photos to throughout the day.  This gave you guys the ability to see The Roadshow from almost every angle possible.  We still have that flickr account and we will be continuing to use it this year.  Make sure you take some time to head over there throughout this tour and see what we are up to.

This year we also wanted to give you guys that same opportunity to share your Roadshow experience, so we set up a fan photos flickr site.  Simply email photos from your night at The Roadshow to fanphotos[at]therockandworshiproadshow.com and they will be forwarded right here.  So make sure you stop by and check out all the photos that people are sending of their Roadshow experience and don’t forget to send in your photos from the night.

Once again we are giving you guys another way to experience The Roadshow and through this you guys are giving us one more way to experience The Roadshow.

In The Bag

Well folks, night one is in the bag and I think we are in for an amazing tour. After hearing about half of the rehearsal I was interested in seeing how the show would come together. Well it is now obvious to me that the people in charge know what they are doing.   Musically, the night moved  from one artist to the next without skipping a beat and no act sounded out of place.  Every group on the tour also proved they new what they were doing.  Each artist had great sets and perfomred incredibly well.

I started this post a couple of time because I was at a loss of words over the evening.  So from here I am going to leave it up to you guys.  If you had the pleasure of watching the show tonight, what was your favorite part of the evening?  If you did not catch the show, make sure to check out the tour page to find out when we will be at a city near you, and you can always check out the show streaming live.

The Beginning: 2010

Day one of The Roadshow has finally arrived. Since the end of The Roadshow 2009, we have been planning and brainstorming new ways to make this year’s tour bigger and better. Needless to say we are a little excited to put these ideas into action and let you, the audience, participate with a tour like nothing else you’ve ever experienced. That’s right I said, “participate with.” Whether you are here at a show, following The Roadshow on twitter, a fan on Facebook, watching the live stream and chatting with new and old friends, we want you guys to be a part of what we are doing. Last year we were able to build of community of people who came together through The Roadshow and our goal this year is to make that community larger. To help with that we added The Roadshow on Foursquare, so make sure to check yourself in and see who else is attending the event with you.

Like I said, we are excited for the tour and we will be sharing new ideas and cool toys as we get to them. But for now, let’s get ready to rock and worship.

Originally, the David Crowder*Band was unable to perform at the kick-off of the 2010 Roadshow in Indianapolis, but things have changed. Indy, we’ve got a little surprise for you. David Crowder WILL in fact be performing the first night of the tour.

We’ve got five days folks. Make sure you keep Thursday night free. It’s a night you are not going to want to miss.
