So, most of you might have noticed something a little different on the live stream tonight. Like the fact that it wasn’t there maybe? And on the night that To Be Announced is playing too? Can you believe it?!? I know. Complete let down of sorts, but allow me to explain.
We have this orange cord, that runs out of the video rack and directly into a computer. This orange cord is a firewire cable that up to this point has worked perfectly. And to my knowledge is still working flawlessly. The problem is where that orange cord plugs into the computer. It seems that the physical plug part on the computer has decided to break rendering the entire video process useless. That’s right. All video broadcasting is contingent on that cable connecting to that computer. Tonight that did not happen. Despite scrambling for over an hour to find replacement computers and different options, we were still unsuccessful.
Now here’s the amazing thing. There were still nearly 100 people that showed up on the chat to hang out and talk about various things. See, now this is the community that this whole thing is about. This is the idea behind bringing people together for something more than a concert, and more than a live broadcast. You people impress me.
So now we have a few days off, and the old computer will be sent in to the shop and we should be fully functional on Thursday to broadcast from Columbus, OH. Thanks for sticking around tonight, and don’t worry, we’ve got some amazing footage of To Be Announced to post later right here on this blog.

it was definitely a fun night on there. can’t wait til Thursday
Well Stuff Happens Sometime but it was still awesome to talk to all the people that stuck around and chatted. Cant Wait Till Thursday though…

Haha, well I thought that it was just a joke at first but TBA really did play
. And they were actually pretty decent too. I’m still sad about missing Addison Road
, but I totally understand Jenny’s situation. Quite frankly I’m surprised she lasted as long as she did on the road. God Bless you guys for the amazing show tonight!
I would’ve loved to stick around and chat, but I’d made a mess of my room & had to clean it up. I’m not surprised so many people stayed though! I LOVE getting on & chatting with everyone! Sometimes I get so into the chat, I forget there’s actually a show going on & it’s not just my iTunes playing in the background :p But I just love meeting everyone and sharing in that time of fellowship and worship with them!
Nothing better! Can’t wait to be back to it next week!
Wishing everyone on the Rock & Worship Road Show crew a WONDERFUL Easter!
God bless,
Kelly
I was so glad I found some time tonight to check on the concert and when it wasn’t there, I was amazed at the number of people chatting – it has become a community and that is awesome. We appreciate all the hard work you put into getting the concerts streamed and know that sometimes there are problems. I can’t wait until Thursday too. Enjoy your break!
Thank you all for your hard work. Like you said, it is a community to get together. Myself had a wonderful time of fellowship and worship on the chat. For all of you out there in chat land….THANKS! Over these last couple of weeks I believe that we have become a family on here. Hope you all have a Happy Easter. Until next week, get rest, be safe, have fun, and wait for Red Pants to come through the Red Door!
Who will be playing on Thursday — will TBA be back?
It was nice the see that much of the gang was there last night. (Brody) Please have the feed up for Thurs night. It is my last chance to see the show before attending Friday night in E. Lansing! Later.
[...] Too bad the computer for the orange cord to stream the roadshow last night was broken.. [...]
Sorry I’ve missed most of this week. Having my daughter home took priority. I am so glad people still came & visited. You started small last fall & look what those seeds have blossomed in to! The Lord has blessed us with the work you do & we in turn are continuing that work by staying in touch in between the shows. Look at the core group of us from last fall. It is exciting. We never know what to expect. We’ve gone backstage, on stage, and outside! Oh, and heard some great music, even during the non-stream time! Lifting each other up when we are down. Thanks, again, Brody (and Kyle). You guys are rocking the world of Christian artists & fans.
I feel so blessed to be a part of all of this. It has definitely brought people together. I’m one of the original peeps that watch last fall and I met so many wonderful people. I’m now friends with many of them and still talk to them frequently on Twitter and Facebook. I have met some more friends this time with the RAWRS concerts. Friendships are being made and the community is growing from what you started last fall. You have brought us so much more than just the online concert. You have showed us behind the scenes, chats with the artist, on stage scenes and so much more. Brody, we are so thankful for you and all you do to make these things possible for the fans.
Happy Easter! He is Risen!
heyyy! i was @ the Springfield show! it rocked my face off! omg, are you going to show the footage of TBA, that Jason Dunn got? I got my picture taken with him while he was filming them…like a TON of girls did, so it’ll be pretty shaky. haha GREAT SHOW THOUGH. couldn’t possibly have been better. thanks for doing it.
made my weekend.
Ok ya’ll! Even though i’m not too old to rock my face off, i should have done a pre-dose of advil Saturday night! I’m a hip youth leader yeah that’s right, cant walk this monday AM but heck who cares right! Our peeps were blessed in Springtown! They worshiped, cried, danced, laughed & got to hear some amazing bands & the WORD from each of them. Thank them all for that. It’s important for them to see them packing thier Bible too. We do an extreme Bible challenge every wed. night that gives them a Dr. Pepper or Mtn. Dew if they bring THIER Bible to group. So LOVED the fact that that was reiterated. Bless you all even you techies trying to work out the gremlins!
Thx Brody for all the super work behind the scenes. It has been a great adventure chatting with other RAWRSers and my only dilemma is when my son Mike is on live with 10th Ave whether or not I should make the screen full with the video or keep it small so I can watch and reply to any chat room comments. Overall, a good dilemma to have and one that we all appreciate. Of course, we know Kyle is the man behind the man…
I gotta say that this whole experiance has been totally amazing. I stumbled on the chat by pure acident, and i am TOTALLY glad because this has become a mini-addiction (in a positive way). I havent been in a chat since like late 2002 and havent been in such a community since about 2005. I love every single new friend I’ve met there. I was one of those 100 people that stuck arround and chatter. I love the fellowship and the friends, and it really truly enhanced the concert when I went in person. Thank you aain for everything! brody, Kyle, remember, you guys got quadruple hearts from me <3333
Thank you for all the hard work you do.God bless you and praying for ya.I was on the chat briefly but got off cause my sis’ and 10 year old niece Jessica came over, spent time with them.Glad yall had a blessed time chatting. We love you!!
God bless, praying for you all.If you need anything just let me know.Take care.
