backstage

Tonight was a crazy night for The RoadshowTV.  We didn’t have great wireless capabilities but we were able to have some fun.  Aside from the normal streaming here are some things we gave you tonight.

  • Sidewalk Prophets joined us back stage for a video chat and an exciting cover of Billie Jean by Michael Jackson.
  • Charlie Millard gave us his version Eye Of The Tiger by Survivor
  • Bart Millard of MercyMe took us back stage during Jeremy Camp giving us an exclusive back stage look right before they take the stage.
  • During MercyMe’s set, we brought the camera on stage for a chance to see what Bart sees from the stage
  • Hawk Nelson met us after the show for their typical tomfoolery.

Don’t forget to check out The RoadshowTV next Thursday as The Roadshow takes the stage in Denver, CO.

  1. That was so cool to at least hear J speak a little (& watch Bart lipsync to him hehe). And Charlie is ADORABLE! He should be MC for the show! :p Thanks for another great night of feeling like we were there with you *wink*

    God bless,
    Kelly

I was at this show and it was AMAZING!!! I am 21 and this was the first concert I have been to. I was blown away by how awesome everyone was. Please keep up the good work guys!

  4. Ah…What a day to have to miss the show online!

Tremendous show. I saw Mercy Me at the NRB in February in Nashville and had to take my kids to see them tonight. Bart, thank you (and Mercy Me) for your vision. Praying to Lord will continue to use you. Your comments on the need for lives wholly dedicated to the Lord were right on; The Church in America needs to put on Christ like never before! Enough of the gimmicks and tricks which are so tired and failed – and more of the boldness we saw in you tonight. Men, especially, need to stand up and be Godly men and be leaders of faith in their own homes. Just hope some folks heard – because we know that “faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
Can’t wait to see you again!
    Fight the good fight!
    Your fellow slave in Christ,
    Al Q.

Does anyone know what the attendance was at the Bossier show?

It was our girls (ages 10 and 8) first concert. We had the best time. Our oldest has a new favorite (Hawk Nelson). It was unbelievably amazing I was surprised at how much more energy some of us older people had over the young ones…..we need to teach these kids how rock! Loved the show guys, you blessed us beyond what was hoped for….God Bless keep it up :)

  9. It would have been more fun for me if my computer hadn’t frozen RIGHT DURING HN! I missed that whole segment. The rest of the night was fun. Bart was even funnier than usual! The kids singing Happy Birthday to Mike’s dad was great! What a gift for him. Thanks, again, guys. Great fun.

This concert was awesome. The groups were all great. There were some awesome worship moments when you could feel God’s presence truly engulf the place. Bart, Jeremya and the lead singer of Tenth Ave. North truly led us into some awesome times of worship. We took our kids ages 5 and 8 since the price was reasonsable enough for all of us to go. They thought the concert “Rocked”. Our 5 yr old daughter danced and had a blast. What a wonderful family experience to be able to share together. We love ya’ll and can’t wait to see ya’ll again!!

I was in the crowd at Centurytel Center and all I can say is WOW!!! The event fully lived up to its name. Hawk Nelson definitelly brought the rock and the worship was awesome and intense. I have been a big fan of Mercy Me for a long time but this was my first live Mercy Me concert. I am already looking forward to RWRS 2010.

I was watching online tonight and I loved all the extras we got to see and hear. Sidewalk Prophets are good and I loved their version of “Billie Jean”.

And Charlie, what can I say about Charlie other than he is so sweeeet! Looking forward to the day that he will be following his daddy and singing on stage for all to see.

I really liked getting to see the kids and wives backstage. Next time, if the wives are with them maybe they can video chat with us too.

Loved it when they went on to show us what Bart and the other MM guys see from the stage.

It was great to see Brody, he has a fan base too. We really appreciate all he does behind the scenes to make it possible for us to be a part of it all.

Last nights concert was KRUNK! I was on the floor, we had decent seats, but I was mostly in the front isle till they told us to go back to our seats. :( But Hawk Nelson, in my opinion, kicked butt and was the best act. MercyMe’s songs were excellent, too. I teared up in “Bring the Rain.” The song just gets to me, and has an excellent message.

Looking forward to next year, be sure to get a little closer to my East Texas home next time, though!

  14. Debra & Jeff

Just want to say what an unbelievable show ya’ll put on!! We enjoyed it very much.. All of the bands were great & the Holy Spirit was moving in that place for sure. It was our first time to see any of the bands live and really enjoyed it.. My son and his friend we very surprised with the show also. I truly hope that this becomes a free show so that you can continue to reach the lives of everyone!! Keep on spreading God’s word & message!! Love you guys, Debra & Jeff

  15. Regina Dupwe

Hey, drove 6 hours to see you. The concert was soo amazing. Loved Sidewalk Prophets, they were great and such a blessing. Wish you can maybe think about coming to Jonesboro, AR in the future.

  16. Looking forward to the RoadShow in Denver this Thursday! Woooo whoooooo!I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Holy Week than with Mercy Me, Jeremy Camp and the rest of the bands bringing down the roof with Praise and Worship!Took my kids to see Mercy Me twice last summer in Colorado (Night Vision and GMA in the Rockies)and what an incredible experience for us/them! We follow your blog. Love the Cover Tune Grab Bag. Thank You for sharing your lives with us. You are such a blessing to all of us! We love you and can’t wait to see you on Thur. As a single mom – thanks for making this concert so affordable to bring the kids!

Blessings to ALL of the memebers of the RoadShow!
