I attended the Rock & Worship Portland show and I have to say it was probably one of the best and most heartfelt times of my life!

A dear friend invited me to the show with a group of friends at first. The night before, everyone had cancelled on her and though I was still hesitant to attend, something pulled me to go and I knew going with her, no matter what, we'd have a fun time. When we got there, upon eye-spying the massive crowd I was in awe of the numbers of people and even more hesitant about standing in an endless line and sea of people. But I have to say that my faith in Portlanders was restored for it was the most positive, not to mention organized and fast moving, line I've ever been in!

I've been to quite a few concerts, but the positive energy and uplifting message of this one falls into a whole other realm! Despite my very personal and loving relationship with God, I fear I'm not an avid church goer and was a little anxious that I might feel awkward attending, but I quickly discovered that was not the case. From the beautiful music, to the awesome crowd interaction(!!!), to the wonderful talk Bart had with the crowd, to the final close of the whole crowd singing . . . I was AMAZED! Thank you for this wonderful experience and beautiful opportunity. I will never forget it!

Thank you for keeping the price at such a low cost too, for without such, my friend and I may not have attended.

And thank you Portland for being a sold out show and showing the love and spirit we have to the world and to God!

Tears of joy are streaming down my face as I type this to say how great this night you brought here to Portland for us was! I just read all these comments above that people have posted and I truly do stand in awe of our Amazing and Magnificent God. I too am grateful that Bart and the others did not listen to those that said it could not be done and instead listened to God's whispers that, "Yes, it can!" be done.

I don't think I have ever spent only $10 for a concert...and I've been to about a hundred. It really was the best $10 I have ever spent and by far the best concert I have EVER been to.

We brought a group of teens from our youth group to it...and they are still talking about how amazing it was! Bart, you are right...you guys left and they are talking to us. Thank you all for your amazing love for God and for sharing His messages with us in such a rockn' format.

God is indeed good!

Jeremy...my youth friend met you and shook hands and told you that I loved you and you apparently told her you loved me too. Thank you :-D You made this gal happy for the night. LOL Truth be told, I love all of you guys and gal though. May God keep you all safe and bring you the greatest peace and happiness.

All my love in Christ,
Tessa Dailey

Words are hard to express. All I can really say is, there is never a better feeling to me than seeing my child enjoy the same music I do, worship God and have fun doing it! And with quality bands such as ALL the bands that played at the Rock And Worship in Portland, OR. it was thrilling to see and be a part of! I will always think with God as the center of attention, the concerts will just continue to get better, because with God as the focus, everyone can know that they are an important part of this place. And the music is more deeply felt and enjoyed. Thank You to Mercy Me for putting on a great show and ALL THE BANDS THERE for such great dancing music and worship music! And thank you for keeping Christ the center of it all!
Love you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From a mother of five beautiful children (15, 13, 11, 9, 7), single income family, on a tight budget I just wanted to say, "Thank you!" Because of the price of the tickets I was able to bring my two oldest, boys. (The girls stayed home with Daddy.) Something we normally wouldn't be able to do. You'd think for $10.00 you wouldn't get much but WOW!!!!!! This was the best concert that I've ever been to, ever! Five awesome bands with many talented musicians, the singing, the dancing, the lights, the messages from the performers, the waving cell phones, the giving, the thousands of people just loving God and being alive! Three hours or so to put everything aside and just praise Him in song! This was an experience the boys and I will never forget.

Thank you, Thank you, God bless all involved, keep praising God and keep up the good work!

Blessings,
Beth

It is Amazing to know that portland filled up the stadium. I love how christian music puts God first and brings together so many different people!!!! I loved the concert and can't wait to see it become FREEEEEE! There were five major things I loved about the concert. 1. Putting an emphasis on Jesus Christ and rather than getting an x number of people to "accept Jesus" for one moment and then not helping them with their relationship with Christ. 2. Jeremy Camp. What an awesome guy. This is one dude who really loves Jesus. Whenever he talks I feel God speaking to my heart. 3. the cheap price and eventual free price. and 4. Portland rocked out like a choir from heaven. (Bart Millard of MercyMe just let the crowd take over for a couple lines of worship songs!!!) 4. and oh yeah..... I can't not forget about HAWK NELSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!Rock'n'Roll oh yeah. THANKS SO MUCH GUYS!!!! praying for you- Myranda

What an incredible night! If you have reservations about waiting outside for tickets, don't let that stop you...it's sooo worth the wait! Thank you to each and every band member and crew for showing us your love for God and for encouraging us to follow God no matter the cost! Most of all thank you for allowing us to worship with you, giving praise to God who is so deserving! My friend and I brought our 9 and 10 year old sons...thank you for giving us the opportunity to bring them to a place where they can be encouraged to live for Jesus in a fun and exciting way! Of course the performance was sold out you guys are awesome!

What a moving concert. It was a massive worship service. Portland loves its Christian music. The artists were there to lead worship, not show themselves off. We went for our kids, but I was the one blessed beyond words. Thank you bands and most of all, thank you God for these people who thrive on spreading the message of Jesus.

Last night's show was absolutely amazing!!!!

God allowed my friend and I to be 2 of the first people into the coliseum and we had 2nd row seats right in the middle of the stage!!

The show was unbelievable! It was so cool to be a part of the 11,000 screaming, dancing and singing fans!

This was definately a memory that I will never forget and will always be sharing with other people!!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped this all come together and for the amazing artists to spend their time and talents with us for such an amazingly small price!!

Last night was AWESOME. To watch my 15 year old daughter w(who had managed to get a really great seat on the floor.. I was up in the stands...) Dance her heart out, worshipping God... there are just not words for it. For her to see that there are bands like Hawk Nelson who play music that she can relate to. AWESOME!!!!
